Life Path — Definition

The life path number is calculated by reducing the birth date to a single digit (with the master numbers 11, 22, and 33 left unreduced). It is read as the dominant theme of a lifetime — the lesson, terrain, or recurring story a person is here to work on. Of all numerology numbers, it is the most widely used and the easiest to compute. A life path 1 is wired for leadership and self-direction; a life path 7 for inquiry and inwardness; and so on.

Example

A person born 4 March 1990 has a life path of 8 (4 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 26 → 2 + 6 = 8).
