Minor Arcana — Definition
The Minor Arcana mirrors a regular playing-card deck but adds an extra court figure, the Page. The four suits — Wands, Cups, Swords, Pentacles — represent the four classical elements and the four domains of human life: action, feeling, thought, and material reality. Where the Major Arcana speaks of fate and turning points, the Minor Arcana describes how those forces play out in concrete, everyday detail. Most readings draw heavily from the Minor cards because most life is lived in the small.
Example
A spread full of Cups and Pentacles often reads as a question about home, money, and emotional security rather than a grand life pivot.
