Opposition — Definition

Oppositions place two planets directly across from each other and read as a polarity — pulled in two directions, looking for balance. Unlike a square, which feels internal and frictional, an opposition often projects onto other people: the relationship, the rival, the partner. Working with an opposition usually means stopping the see-saw and integrating both ends rather than picking a side.
